BIRDIE WITH A SIDE OF RUSS MEYER

Does his chirp carry a hint of...triumph? By thunder it does, doesn't it? And well it should, too, since it's clear that our little friend here (or rather, there) is living the dream, the smug little bugger. A little Robin Leach narration over this would either be hilarious, or just too much to bear.

It would have been funny if he came out with a navel ring in his beak...

Actually, I'm beginning to hate the little bastard. Do you suppose he could be a gay bird? Universe is funny that way, you know. Comforting thought, anyway.

Whoever writes the best punchline or caption to this one wins the finest ball of lint my pocket's lint glands can muster.

I HAVE NO IDEA, BUT IT REMINDS ME OF THOSE MUPPET SOCK ALIENS

Our friend from the last video makes another appearance, this time with his friend Anakin.

HELI TAKES A DIP

Today's bland, idle thought: somewhere in the world, a beautiful little bird is having a peaceful moment in his bath.

(It's been fun picking out domestic bird videos that have the desired brevity, color, and simplicity.)

GO, TIKI, GO!

I really love the inadvertent elegance and sweetness of these short videos. I'm certain this is not a very original thought, but one could think of this sort of thing as video folk art.
